Allama Iqbal open university admission 2023

Allama Iqbal Open University offers admission once a year for matriculation and intermediate programs. AIOU opens admission for Bachelors’ and Master’s programs twice a year.

Currently, the admissions are not open for the 9th, 10th, 1st year, and 2nd year. For university level programs, the Spring Semester 2023 has been closed and the admission is finalized. Nowadays, AIOU has opened admission for Autumn Semester 2023.

AIOU Admission Submission Last Date Autumn Semester 2023 

Allama Iqbal Open University has opened admission of Matric and Intermediate programs for the autumn semester of 2023 on 15 July 2023. The last date of admission for intermediate and Matric Programs is 5 September 2023.

AIOU has opened Autumn Semester 2023 admissions for University level programs on 15th July 2023. The Last date of admission for BS, MBA, MPhil, and Ph.D programs is  22 August 2023.

How to take admission in AIOU

Allama Iqbal Open University has opened admission for Matric, Inter, and University programs. Students can now apply for admission in AIOU. The prospectus is also available at the University located in the H8 sector of Islamabad.

There are two possible methods for students to apply for admission in AIOU for Autumn Semester 2023. Both methods are explained below.

Apply for Admission in AIOU ONLINE

Now New students can apply for admission in AIOU on their website www aiou edu pk. This is a complete online admission application method. Here’s how to apply for AIOU admission online on their website.

• Visit the online admission portal of AIOU here.

• Create a new account by entering your e-mail or phone number and a new password.
• Sign in with your ID and Password if you already have an account.
• Now create a new application for admission in AIOU.
• Select your program and fill your name and additional details.
• Review your details and then click the submit button.
• Your admission in aiou request will be submitted and the status will be shown.

This way you can apply for Admission in AIOU online on their website aiou edu pk. You can also apply for admission by submitting the admission form in the university.

If you don’t want to apply for online AIOU admission then you can also submit the admission form in the university by yourself. You can also send your admission form to the university through Pakistan Post. Here is the procedure for applying for admission in AIOU by submitting the admission form.

• Purchase the prospectus from Allama Iqbal Open University. (Available for 100 Rs in AIOU H8 Main Campus). You will also get the admission form with the prospectus.
• Fill out the admission form and attach the required documents for admission in AIOU.
• Separate the fee voucher from the admission form.
• Take the admission form to any branch of the banks mentioned on the fee voucher and pay the fees. (You can also pay fees online through Easypaisa or JazzCash app)
• The banker will give you a student receipt and a university receipt. Keep the student receipt for proof and attach the university receipt with the documents.
• Pack the admission form, university fee receipt, and documents in an envelope.
• Now there are two options to submit the filled admission form to the university.
• The first option is to visit the University (H8 – Islamabad) and submit the envelope to the admission department building in the university.
• The second option is to visit your nearest Pakistan Post Office and give your parcel to them. Make sure you have attached the address label over the envelope. (address label comes with the admission form).
• Submit the envelope to Post Officer (no posting fees required). Make sure to get the posting receipt for proof.
