AIOU Admission Requirements

Firstly, you have to ensure that you have fulfilled all the admission requirements of AIOU. Otherwise, your admission may not be considered in the university.

See this checklist and make sure you have completed everything by following the right way.

• You have filled out the admission form completely and provided the right information in the admission form.
• You have attached all the required documents with the admission form. 
• Your documents are attested.
• (For online submission) Your application is successfully submitted to the admission portal. (By Post Submission) You have posted the form to the right address.
• You have submitted the admission application form before the due date.
• You have submitted the fee before the due date and submitted it on the right account number of AIOU.

AIOU Admission Confirmation Delay

So now, you have verified that you have properly submitted the admission form to the university.

After the admission closure date, the university admission department begins compiling the admission forms and the information is fed into computer systems one by one. And then the department decides for which students to give admission and which to reject. This process takes up to 40 days.

After 40 days of admission closure, the university starts notifying students about their AIOU admission confirmation. It takes another 20 days for the university to notify all the students about their admission status. So students should wait up to 60 days after the closure of admission to get notified about their admission status.

AIOU Admission Confirmation Not Received

Allama Iqbal Open University notifies the students regarding the admission status through the provided email and contact number.

It is recommended to check your spam folder in email and phone messages. Because sometimes, the mail or message from unknown number lands in spam folder by the system.

Possibly, you may find the admission status notification in the spam folders. If you still didn’t find any message or mail, there is still a way to know about your admission confirmation in AIOU.

Check AIOU Admission Status Online

Allama Iqbal Open University also uploads the student admission information on its official website. Students can check the confirmation of admission on the admission status portal of AIOU. You can check your admission confirmation status online in 2 possible ways given below.

AIOU Admission Confirmation 2023 by Roll Number

You can check your confirmation of admission status with your AIOU roll number by following the given steps.

• Visit the official website of AIOU here.
• Move to the admission tab.

• Click the ‘admission confirmation’ link.
• You will see the following page shown below.

• Select your semester. (eg Spring 2023 OR Autumn 2023)
• Select All level Programs in programs dropdown and click submit button.
• A new page will appear. Make sure ‘Roll Number’ is selected in the dropdown menu.

• Enter your AIOU roll number and click submit.
• A new window will appear that will show your admission application details along with your Admission status in AIOU.

Some students might not have their AIOU roll number so they can also find their admission confirmation status by entering their Name.

AIOU Admission Confirmation 2023 by Name (Method #1)

• Open the website of Allama Iqbal Open University.
• Scroll to the admission section.
• Open the ‘admission confirmation’ link.
• The page will appear as shown below in the picture.
• Choose your semester. (eg Spring 2023 OR Autumn 2023)
• Choose All level Programs in the selection menu and then press submit.
• On the next page, click the dropdown menu and select ‘By Name’.

• Enter your Name and hit the submit button.
• A new page will show your AIOU admission confirmation status along with some other admission related information.
• Once you confirmed your admission status for Allama Iqbal Open University, you have to find your AIOU Registration Number. Then you have to log in to AIOU LMS portal and find your tutor information in the enrollment portal.

• Visit Admission Confirmation Check page.
• This page will appear.

• If you have applied for online admission, then enter your email/mobile number that you have used while submitting admission.
• If you have applied for admission using the admission form, then enter the username and password that you have received on your phone number through SMS. (How to know your user name and password)
• In the admission status column, click the tracking ID button.
• If your admission is confirmed, you will see a congratulation message, your roll number, and some other information.
