The best part of this announcement is that the fee for Ph.D programs at AIOU is inexpensive for the students. The admission fee for Ph.D programs is around Rs 2000, and the thesis fee for Ph.D in Chemistry is Rs. 13400. The total fee for a semester in Ph.D degree varies with the course selection. Fee structure for overseas AIOU
Allama Iqbal Open University is offering Online Admissions to International and Overseas Students through online methods of study in many programs including Matric, B.Ed, Associate degree programs (B.com, BA, Education), BS, and some general courses.
International and Overseas students can pay their fees using their credit/debit cards. Follow the method to pay your AIOU fees.
- Go to the Official AIOU Challan page for foreign students.
- Enter your challan number and click on the “search” button
- Check your challan details with the shown challan form then click on the “submit fee” button
- Enter your credit/debit card number, cardholder name, expiry, and CVV code. CVV code is mentioned on the back of the card.
- Click on the “pay now” button.
- An Order ID will appear with a successful payment notification.
- Write Order ID and Transaction Date in the space given below.
- Save the Order ID in your record till confirmation of your admission.

You have to add your total fee expenses for every semester and multiply them by the total semesters of your degree program by using the given formula.
(Tuition Fee x Number of Semesters) + Admission Fee + Registration Fee
For Example:
Your Tuition Fee Per semester = 12000
Number of semesters = 4
Admission Fee = 2000
Registration Fee = 2750
Then your total fee for the degree using the fee calculator formula will be:
=(12000 x 4) + 2000 + 2750
=Rs. 52,750
Using this method you can calculate your total fee for your degree program as well.
